Celia Whitehead - LIVE onboard the Grande Caribe

Last week while moored in Belfast Maine, our passengers were entertained in the lounge by a charming young performer; Celia Whitehead.

Celia has a truly beautiful voice and is an accomplished singer. More than that however, she mixes storytelling with folk songs, celtic classics and little known ballards from Scotland and Ireland.

In addition, she has a host of "Maine" stories and songs that have been handed down from generations of her family and she is so engaging that the audience doesn't want to let her go home!

Celia is from Bath, Maine and currently attends Conneticut College. A former "Pirate", she performed as part of the crew of the Black Prince a pirate themed excursion boat which plied the coast of Maine a few years back in search of treasure and adventure! Performing onboard for children and families Ceila was part of a very talented group of young performers who created a great onboard show. Now she performs wherever the winds may blow...

We are pleased to present Celia for an encore performance onboard the Grande Caribe on August 19th on our Maine Coast Cruise 2009. Come and cruise with us, you will be surprised at what you'll find aboard.
